CFL East and West Final betting

The road to the Grey Cup goes through Montreal and Calgary this weekend, as the Alouettes host the Eskimos in the East Final, while the Stampeders take on the Lions in the West Final.
Both home teams are favored in the CFL conference final odds list at PinnacleSports.com by just less than a touchdown and the total for both games hovers around 56.5.
Edmonton earned their matchup with Montreal by defeating Winnipeg 29-21 in last week’s East Semifinal. A.J. Harris rushed for a pair of touchdowns in the win, while Fred Perry returned an interception 31 yards for a score.
During the regular season the Eskimos and Alouettes met up twice, with the home team winning each game. In Week 13 Montreal blasted Edmonton 40-4 as a 3.5-point home favorite.
Anthony Calvillo passed for 414 yards with two touchdowns and Mike Imoh had a pair of rushing touchdowns. Eskimos quarterback Ricky Ray threw for only 156 yards before being replaced with Jason Maas when Edmonton was well out of it.
Montreal and Edmonton clashed again in Week 19 in a game that was meaningless to the Alouettes. The Eskimos won 37-14 as a 5-point favorite, but Montreal did not play Calvillo in the loss. Ray passed for 302 yards with two TDs to lead the Eskimos to the victory.
Calvillo will be behind center on Saturday and the Alouettes are a 6-point favorite at PinnacleSports.com.
The Lions advanced to the West Final by routing Saskatchewan 33-12 last weekend. Buck Pierce led the Lions’ offense with 221 passing yards and a touchdown, while Stefan Logan rushed for 153 yards on 18 carries.
Calgary and B.C. battled three times during the regular season and the Stampeders won all three games. The Lions and Stamps started the season in Calgary in Week 1 when the Stampeders won 28-18 as a 3-point underdog behind a three-TD effort from Henry Burris.
Pierce and Jarious Jackson split the time at QB for B.C. in the loss, with each of them recording a TD pass.
Calgary and B.C. met up again in Week 9 and the Stampeders upset the Lions 36-29 as a 3-point road underdog. Burris had two more touchdown passes in the win and running back Joffrey Reynolds rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. Pierce and Jackson shared time at QB again for B.C., but neither had a strong game while combining for 178 passing yards and one touchdown.
The Stampeders and Lions closed out the season in Week 19 when Calgary rolled over B.C. 41-30 as a 3-point home underdog. Burris played only the first half and had a TD pass before giving way to backup QB Barrick Nealy, who had three rushing touchdowns.
Pierce got the start for the Lions and passed for 346 yards with three touchdowns in the loss. After owning the Lions during the regular season it’s no surprise that Calgary is a 6-point favorite this weekend at PinnacleSports.com.
